Following the tragic death of a baby in a bath seat last year, the NHS has updated its website on bathing babies to include the advice “never leave your baby alone in the bath, not even for a second” and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents recommend baby bath seats are not used.

鶹 would encourage neonatal units to provide safe bathing advice to families on discharge from the neonatal unit.
